DONATIONS... Our yearly hosting bill is coming up due (on September 16) and we would greatly appreciate it if our members would be willing to help us pay for it. Any amount you can spare, large or small, would go a long way to keeping WWS alive for another year. If you're interested in contributing, send a PM to Houkie. Thanks! :) Thanks to Emy (Faolan), Jaybird (Ghoti), and Wingz (Evren), we're all paid up for another year. Thanks so much – to them and to everyone else who offered to contribute – for their generosity! <333

The rocky divide between Whisper Forest and Sleepy Fox Hollow soars straight up into the sky so sharply that its uppermost crags are hidden by wreaths of billowy clouds and a crown of whitest snow. As the tallest peak, its majesty draws the eye and provides a stunning backdrop from nearly any point in the surrounding valleys. Despite its intimidating height, the mountain offers several plateaus and clearings along its rocky crests and thusly draws in many a curious explorer, though not many have the stamina to reach the fabled Tears of Polaris, the waterfall that tumbles almost airily from the topmost alpine spires. This purest of cascades drops thousands of feet, trickling ethereally down the mountainside in a beautiful disarray and creating shimmering pools along the way. The plentiful water source supports the thick copses of splendid foliage that sporadically dot the ever-broadening pike before meandering slowly away along its rotund base. Fireflies flourish here in the warmer seasons, glowing between the trees and creating a particularly fanciful light show on warm summer evenings.
