And yep, it's that time again – time for you, our faithful members, to spam Houkie's inbox to death with more of your beautiful banners for a new batch of board skins! :D Click here for instructions on how to design your banners, and when you're done, please PM them to Houkie. If you use a photograph, please include the name of the photographer in your PM. And as always, we love seeing original artwork and photography created by our very own members, so if you're artistically-inclined, please help us make WWS a bit more unique by submitting your own personal work! :)
LOTS OF OTHER UPDATES... So much has happened in the past few weeks and I (Houkie) haven't been keeping up with the announcements like I should. Some of the bigger changes are:
a.) We now have a brand-new pack, Hickory Stream Woods, led by Leviathan and Chena of SFH. SFH has disbanded.
b.) We've made some changes to puppy season – more info will be posted on that shortly.
c.) Joining as a Lone Wolf will once again be permitted. More details will be posted on this shortly as well.
d.) Please take a moment to read this article if you use photographs as avatars/tables/etc.
T-SHIRT ARTISTS... When we discussed making WWS t-shirts a while back, several artists volunteered to come up with designs for the shirts. I (Houkie) haven't heard from any of you since then, so if you guys could get in touch with me and let me know where you're at on the designs (or if you still intend to do them at all?), I'd appreciate that. I'd really like to get t-shirts and hoodies made soon. Thanks! :)

Character Creation – If you need some help with this, see the Character Creation Guide. Your character must be at least 50% wolf to join a pack. Characters that are less than 50% wolf must be Valley Creatures.
Account Creation – Register an account with our forum. Your account username should be the same as your character’s name and capitalized properly, please! :)
Profile – Make sure your user profile is filled out COMPLETELY. This is required and your application will not be accepted until your profile is completed. Please be as clear, thorough, and descriptive as possible so that other roleplayers get a good image of your character. We also ask that you fill out all of the relevant OoC fields, but only REQUIRE that the “OOC Name” and “Current Characters” fields be completed.
Joining Application – Post a new topic in the Membership forum. The topic title of your post should be the name of the pack you are joining. In your topic, you must include the following information:

…species:
your current character(s): (if any)
a bit about your character: (please write a brief description of your character’s personality and appearance)
Welcome – If everything is in order, the Alpha of the pack you are joining will post a Welcome Message. You will not be able to RP until an Administrator updates your title, which could take up to 24 hours — please be patient. :)
Your First Post… Should be in your new pack’s forum, introducing your character to new pack mates. our character is a pack member by default; no official IC approval is needed and it should be assumed that a meeting took place between your character and whichever Alpha accepted you. Just keep in mind that if your character doesn’t make a good impression on the pack Leaders, he or she may be kicked out of the pack.
Valley Creatures If you wish to join as a Valley Creature, please post your application in the Membership forum, including the following:

…gender: …species: (if it is not native to the Rocky Mountains/Wyoming in the U.S., it will not be accepted – no exceptions!)

Make the topic title of your post Valley Creature. Please note that there are a limited number of Valley Creature positions, so check the Member Statistics before you apply.
Lone Wolves As of May 2010, joining as a Lone Wolf is no longer permitted. The only members who are permitted to play Lone Wolves are those whose characters have been kicked out of their pack or are, for whatever reason, homeless and in search of a pack. You may not join as a Lone Wolf to ICly find your character a pack, either – you must choose a pack in your joining application.
