STAFF, SKIN DRIVE & MORE... We're taking applications for three Activities Staff positions. If you're interested in managing the monthly Write Like Crazy! competition as well as brainstorming fun new games and contests for our members to enjoy, please PM Houkie!

And yep, it's that time again – time for you, our faithful members, to spam Houkie's inbox to death with more of your beautiful banners for a new batch of board skins! :D Click here for instructions on how to design your banners, and when you're done, please PM them to Houkie. If you use a photograph, please include the name of the photographer in your PM. And as always, we love seeing original artwork and photography created by our very own members, so if you're artistically-inclined, please help us make WWS a bit more unique by submitting your own personal work! :)

LOTS OF OTHER UPDATES... So much has happened in the past few weeks and I (Houkie) haven't been keeping up with the announcements like I should. Some of the bigger changes are:
a.) We now have a brand-new pack, Hickory Stream Woods, led by Leviathan and Chena of SFH. SFH has disbanded.
b.) We've made some changes to puppy season – more info will be posted on that shortly.
c.) Joining as a Lone Wolf will once again be permitted. More details will be posted on this shortly as well.
d.) Please take a moment to read this article if you use photographs as avatars/tables/etc.

T-SHIRT ARTISTS... When we discussed making WWS t-shirts a while back, several artists volunteered to come up with designs for the shirts. I (Houkie) haven't heard from any of you since then, so if you guys could get in touch with me and let me know where you're at on the designs (or if you still intend to do them at all?), I'd appreciate that. I'd really like to get t-shirts and hoodies made soon. Thanks! :)

Gender – We would like to keep the gender numbers about even in each pack so that males don’t outnumber females or vice versa, so please look at the Member Statistics to see which gender is needed.

Name – The only limitation on your character’s name is your own creativity. Here are some good naming sites: 20000-names.com, behindthename.com and babynamesworld.com. When you’re coming up with a name you might also want to consider your character’s life history, since his or her name may be reflective of what their family was like or where they were from. 

Age – Wolves are considered puppies at the WWS until they reach twelve (12) months of age.  You may not join as a puppy less than 12 months of age; however, if you wish to play one there will be plenty of opportunities to adopt puppies born into the packs during the breeding season.  Also, you can check the Character Adoption thread to see if there are any puppies whose owners no longer wish to play them.  If you pick up a puppy character, our Puppy Development guide is a useful tool for reference while your character grows.

Appearance – Check out our Physical Appearance guide to build your character’s appearance and select a subspecies.

Personality & History – What is your character like? Where did he or she come from? Make sure you read our Submission guide so you know how your character should behave.
