Frequently Asked Questions

How do I join?
Once you have been accepted as a member of the Wild Wolf Society, you can join the Energy Stones Program via the User Controls.

How do I request Stones?
You request Stones via the Energy Stones Control Panel, which you access via the User Controls on the forums.

Where do I display the Stones I’ve earned?
Your Energy Stones are automatically displayed on your user profile.

What is a “completed” thread?
For the purposes of the Energy Stones Program, a thread is “completed” when it meets all of the following criteria:

· there is an IC conclusion
· the thread is stored the Archives (not in Dead Threads)
· the thread has at least 10 replies
· at least 3 of the 10 replies are yours
· your character exits logically or remains until the end of the thread

ESP Managers reserve the right to disallow the use of any thread at their discretion.

How do I make a Thread Log for the Fire, Earth & Metal Stones?
If you wish to work towards the Fire, Earth and Metal Stones you will need to maintain a thread log that must meet all of the following criteria:

· the Log contains a link to each thread and a list of characters met in that thread
· only completed threads are Logged
· only characters who exit logically from the thread are listed as met
· characters met are only ever listed once (i.e. each name on the entire list is unique)
· each line of the Log contains a running tally of characters met

An example acceptable Thread Log would look like this:

001. A Walk in the Park — Sally, Bob, Jim — 3
002. Hunting for Cantelope — Fred, Pete — 5
003. Do You Like Green Eggs and Ham? — Anabel — 6

Fire, Earth and Metal Stones are awarded on an honor system. If you cheat in any way, you will be removed from the Energy Stones Program and face total banning from the entire game. Play fair!

Spirit Stones
Name	Details	Proof Required
Red	Find a mate with your ESP-joining character. Your character’s mate must still be an active member for this to be awarded, however, once awarded you will not lose this Stone.	Mate’s name.
Orange	Participate in a pack meeting/activity with your ESP-joining character.	URL of the completed thread.
Yellow	Participate in a pack hunt with your ESP-joining character.	URL of the completed thread.
Lime	Earn a co-rank with your ESP-joining character. You must hold the co-rank when you request this Stone for it to be awarded, however, once awarded you will not lose this Stone.	Just request.
Ice Blue	Participate in a Gamewide festival.	Details will be provided with festival instructions.
Purple	Join the Energy Stones Program.	You receive this automatically.
Pink	Have puppies with your ESP-joining character and roleplay that parent character for at least six months thereafter.	URLs of the completed birth thread and any completed thread from at least six months thereafter.

Status Stones

Argent Falls	Play a Argent Falls member as any character for at least 6 consecutive months.	Character name and URLs of: a your first completed thread as a pack member; AND b any completed thread from six months thereafter.
Darklands Clan	Participation in the Coyote Expedition as a coyote or as a member of one of the Expedition teams, with any character.	Character name and URLs of any completed threads you had during the Coyote Expedition as a coyote/Expedition member.
Everto Peak	Complete at least five threads as an Everto Peak member with any character.	Character name and URLs of the completed threads.
Gold Moon Forest	Play a Gold Moon Forest member as any character for at least 6 consecutive months.	Character name and URLs of: a your first completed thread as a pack member; AND b any completed thread from six months thereafter.
Hó’nehe	Hó’nehe membership.	Character name and URLs of any completed threads as a Hó’nehe member.
Lone Wolf	a Play a Lone Wolf for at least six consecutive months; OR b play a Lone Wolf for at least one month then join a pack.	Character name, URL of your first completed thread as Lone Wolf and: a URL of any thread completed at least six months thereafter; OR b URL of your first completed thread as a pack member.
Mount Shadow	Play a Mount Shadow member as any character for at least 6 consecutive months.	Character name and URLs of: a your first completed thread as a pack member; AND b any completed thread from six months thereafter.
Nova Mountain	Play a Nova Mountain member as any character for at least 6 consecutive months.	Character name and URLs of: a your first completed thread as a pack member; AND b any completed thread from six months thereafter.
Rank: Bronze	Hold a Delta rank equivalent with any character for at least one month.	Character name, pack, and dates.
Rank: Gold	Hold a Beta rank equivalent with any character for at least one month.	Character name, pack, and dates.
Rank: Platinum	Hold an Alpha rank equivalent with any character for at least one month.	Character name, pack, and dates.
Rank: Silver	Hold a Gamma rank equivalent with any character for at least one month.	Character name, pack, and dates.
Silent Moon Plateau	Play a Silent Moon Plateau member as any character for at least 6 consecutive months.	Character name and URLs of: a your first completed thread as a pack member; AND b any completed thread from six months thereafter.
Silver Creek	Play a Silver Creek member as any character for at least 6 consecutive months.	Character name and URLs of: a your first completed thread as a pack member; AND b any completed thread from six months thereafter.
Sterling Waters	Complete at least 3 threads as a Sterling Waters member.	Character name and URLs of the completed threads.
Strawberry Fields	Play a Strawberry Fields member as any character for at least 6 consecutive months.	Character name and URLs of: a your first completed thread as a pack member; AND b any completed thread from six months thereafter.
Valley Creature	Play a Valley Creature as any character for at least six consecutive months.	Character name and URLs of: a your first completed thread as a Valley Creature; AND b any completed thread from at least six months thereafter.
Whisper Forest	Play a Whisper Forest member as any character for at least 6 consecutive months.	Character name and URLs of: a your first completed thread as a pack member; AND b any completed thread from six months thereafter.
Winterheart Forest	Play a Winterheart Forest member as any character for at least 6 consecutive months.	Character name and URLs of: a your first completed thread as a pack member; AND b any completed thread from six months thereafter.

Soul Stones

Burgundy	Post a portfolio in Studio P.A.W.	URL of your Studio P.A.W. thread. Your portfolio must contain actual samples of your work to qualify.
Brown	Contribute to Boardwide Pride!	Year you contributed and character name the contribution is under.
Marigold	Win the Crazy Poster! award for having the most posts in the Write Like Crazy! Contest. This Stone will also be awarded to past WWS MotM award winners.	Character name you won the award with and month award was received.
Green	Complete at least one month as Board Helper/Official Staff Member.	Just request — ESP Manager must verify with Administration before awarding.
Indigo	Make a contribution that is used by the Administration/win an OoC game that awards Energy Stones (except WLC!).	Explain what you contributed. ESP Manager must verify with Administration before awarding.
Violet	Make a contribution that is used by the Administration/win an OoC game that awards Energy Stones (except WLC!). You must already have Indigo to receive this Stone.	Explain what you contributed. ESP Manager must verify with Administration before awarding.
Raspberry	Make a contribution that is used by the Administration/win an OoC game that awards Energy Stones (except WLC!). You must already have Indigo and Violet to receive this Stone.	Explain what you contributed. ESP Manager must verify with Administration before awarding.

Elemental Stones

Metal	Meet 100 characters with your ESP-joining character.	URL of your thread log. See FAQ (at top) for instructions.
Water	Complete threads in 10 different territories with your ESP-joining character.	URLS of the completed threads.
Wind	Post 100 IC posts. You may combine the post counts of your active characters.	Just request. If you wish to combine post counts, include the name(s) of your other active characters.
Wood	Post 500 IC posts. You may combine the post counts of your active characters.	Just request. If you wish to combine post counts, include the name(s) of your other active characters.
Soul	Post 1250 IC posts. You may combine the post counts of your active characters.	Just request. If you wish to combine post counts, include the name(s) of your other active characters.

Plot Stones
Name	Details	Proof Required
Teal (Plot)	There are 7 Teal Stones which are awarded for participating in Boardwide Plots. The Stones are awarded in order and are not specific to any plot, i.e. if you participated in BWP1 and BWP3, you will get PS1 and PS2.	BWP1 Participation as a coyote, in the Coyote Expedition, or in a “meanwhile…” thread. Provide links to completed threads. BWP2, BWP3, BWP4 Provide links to at least 3 completed threads which were listed in the respective BWP registry. Make sure to include the name of your character!
