| end of June 2001: A storytelling expedition led by Green uncovers a secret land beyond Nova Mountain, but the sudden sickness plaguing the Salvajes prevents news of this land from spreading. September 2001: News of the secret land spreads through the Salvajes, and locals begin exploring the area. But it is an odd place, and many wolves report spotting strange ghostly wolven-like creatures spying on them. October 2001: When the plot officially begins, the wolves of the Salvajes will discover that the specters they’ve been seeing in the secret land are not specters at all, but real, living wolves — the Hó’nehe Tribe, an ancient group of Native American-loving canines who do not appreciate all the trespassing in their territories. The rest of the plot… will depend on how the packs receive the Hó’nehe Tribe. It may end in peaceful resolution, it may end in all-out conflict. This will be determined by IC events and will not be pre-planned. Sub-Storyline Compounding the drama is the fact that the Hó’nehe Tribe has multiple ties to the Salvajes and its current and historical inhabitants, which is the precise reason why the Hó’nehe relocated so close to the Salvajes. mid-1990s: The last remaining Hó’nehe family descendant died, and leadership of the tribe was passed to the Saqui family. late 2000: The last remaining Saqui family descendant died before naming a new family to lead the tribe, leaving the tribe without a Me’ko (leader). However, the Ma’heoneve (high priestess) insists that there still lives a true rightful heir. Instead of choosing a new Me’ko, the tribe relocated closer to the Salvajes, where the daughter of the last Hó’nehe family Me’ko was rumored to live, in search of said heir — the identity of whom no one in the tribe knows. Recap: The Hó’nehe Tribe currently has no leader (Me’ko), because they are saving the rank for the true heir once they determine who he or she is — if they ever are able to find them! In lieu of a Me’ko, the tribe is currently run by the two Tsehata’a (Elders), who normally serve as the Me’ko’s assistants. Hó’nehe History The Hó'nehe family spent many years learning from the Arapaho and Cheyenne in the Wyoming wilderness before departing their human friends and beginning the Hó'nehe Tribe with the plan of applying the ways of the Natives to wolven life. Bringing together other wolf families whom the Hó'nehe family invited to join their new nation, the Hó'nehe Tribe was born in the early 1600s. | ||||
